7. Self- assessment and evaluation of my own learning in this course

When I started to take this subject  I thouhgt (being sincere) it will be bored, but I was so mistaken. This has been an amazing subject in which I have learnt many things that will help me a lot in order to teach others in an interesting way  but no bored (when I start my teaching practicum in high school as in university).

Learning a new language is very difficult because there are a lot of things that can lead us to the frustration, worst if you are going to teach or to work with kids because they learn in a special way. consequently, it is important to know how to teach, how can they learn in an interesting way, how you can do things easier for the learner? i have learnt some things developing this subject, that are very useful in order to teach another language. For example: My classmates presented helpful ideas, creative activities for working with children, tasks that they enjoy to do for example singing, drawing, playing, dancing and so on; besides, our teacher gave us some books (some are a little heavy because they have a lot of new words or small letters that we are not able to read) , but anyways these books give us ways a to teach for example, our pupils can learn by doing because they need to put in practice their knowledge, they need to pay attention to classes for learning more.

We as learners have to make mistakes because that is the best way of learning. Another thing are the different ways that everyone learns. Our world is very special because we are all different from one another, so it is important to understand our learning style so that we can learn to the best of our potential. Do you know what your learning style is? it can be Visual (for seeing it), auditory (for hearing it) Kinesthetic ( for doing it). I have learnt also about necessity of the development of the 4 macro skills - reading, listening, writing, speaking- which can help us to achieve some goal, as also the systems -grammar, vocabulary, function, discourse and phonology- which are part of the English subject matter.
We need to learn something not because we have to, but because we really want to.
